Grillin' Time

Some friends of ours just moved and they gave us their propane grill. We have only had it a few days and we have grilled every night. We are addicted! Last night we made grilled pizzas. They turned out so yummy. This is the first time we have had our own grill and have grilled on our own. We think we are doing pretty good!

This next picture I took while sitting on our porch swing looking out onto our yard while our pizzas cooked. It is so green and pretty and very quiet. I love it. I will definitely miss the views and the quiet days and nights when we move in 2 weeks into town.

As we were grilling we turned around and looked up and saw 4 little birds nests. It's like they are making a little village. I guess our front porch is the hot place to live right now.

What a pretty view. Are you excited to move? Two weeks...that's coming up soon. Chris is in the process of moving our stuff right now as well.

Pizza on the grill. Buy a roll of pizza dough from the store. Shape and cut to the size you want. Brush both side lightly with olive oil. Put straight on grill with no toppings yet. Grill on both sides until dough is almost done. Take off, add all your toppings and put back on the grill. Grill until toppings are heated and cheese is melted. Yummy!

PS. Is that you Jeena writing comments under anonymous? I was wondering who that was!

Hi Heidi,

You don't know me and I don't know you, but I do know your husband. He and I went to HS together in St. Johns.

Anyway, I kind of stumbled across your blog by mere coinsidence. It was a shock to me that I knew you. I couldn't help but read a few of your posts and I can honestly say, I am so happy for you and Spencer to be having a baby! Great news!

I hope this pregnancy goes extremely well for you, I know all too well about being high risk.

Thanks for letting me stop by and tell Spencer hello and that we will miss him at the reunion!

P.S. I love this idea for grilled pizzas. I have a recipe blog that you are welcome to check out, if you want. tastesofhome.blogspot.com
