Kate's Quilt

I finished Kate's quilt last night. It's all washed and dried ready to go. I love it. I picked a simple design so I could finish it fast. I quilted it in straight lines and appliqued a little flower on the back. I can't wait to wrap her up in it. For those of you who don't know, Kate is the name of our baby girl due on July 21st.As a side note. I tried a new white cotton quilting fabric and I absolutely love it and will contine to use it for the rest of my projects. It is called cotton sateen from JoAnn Fabric. It is a bright white and super soft and easy to work with. You can order it online (that is what I did) and if you sign up for their emails you get great online coupons like 40%-50% off a single item. They also sell an egyptian cotton but I haven't tried that yet.

She's almost here! How exciting. I love love love this quilt, the colors are just perfect and I love the flower on the back. I will have to try the fabric, because it seems nice and way cheaper than most others. Thanks for the info!

Okay, you're SOOO good at making quilts. Instead of learning how to do this, can I just pay you to make the rest of my future kids quilts? (Hopefully by then we'll have money!)
By the way, thanks so much for taking care of John while he was there. You guys are great!
When is the big move? Still end of July?
