Ty's First Babysitter
My really good friend, Amber, watched Ty for a couple of hours last week. I have to admit that I was a crazy first-time mom and typed out "instructions" (I laugh now thinking about it) to give to Amber. It consisted of his feeding schedule, nap routine, likes, dislikes....you name it! Poor Amber had no idea what she was getting herself into. She was a good sport and let me read her the entire list (yes, I read it out loud to her...I'm such a nerd)! Anyway, everything went smoothly and Ty actually had a good nap at her house. He is such a good baby! Amber was a wonderful babysitter and Ty loved playing with her little girl, Maya. Thanks Amber!

I think we all are like that the first time we leave our baby for the first time. How great that you have friends that can do that for you.
Heid's this made me laugh!!! I can actually picture you doing this very thing. It is so stinkin cute. Ty is soooo lucky to have you as a mom. He is probably glad you dod too, the kid has things the way he likes them and they should stay that way even when mom is out for a little while!! You are the CUTEST mom ever!!
I still type out instructions when I have babysitters for my girls. I don't think it's weird at all.
It is SO hard to leave them...I have a really funny story about it that I will have to share with you sometime.

Well, at least you went out. Alan and I have not gone out since this summer because that was when we were near family. I am too nervous to leave Jace since he is kind of a hand full.
