Five Wonderful Years!

Today is our 5 year anniversary. We were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on July 30, 2003. This has been the best 5 years of both of our lives. We have accomplished so many things and have been blessed tremendously along the way.
"One of the most beautiful, comforting doctrines of the Lord--one that brings immense peace, happiness and, unbounded joy--is that principle called eternal marriage." --Richard G. Scott

New Favorite Things!

I do A LOT of shopping online, especially now that we live in Virginia. The nearest mall..well anything that has to do with shopping is an hour away!! It is easier to shop online then fighting traffic, paying for gas, dealing with Ty in his stroller...etc. I found 2 web site that give you cash back for shopping online. They are BigCrumbs.com and EBATES.com It is totally free to join too. I couldn't believe how many stores they have. EBay, Target, Gap, Circuit City, Hotels.com, Babies R Us, Walmart....the list is huge! I have bought stuff at about 5 of the stores over the last month alone. Just imagine if I would have signed up for this earlier. All you have to do is go to the store through their web site and you will get cash back for shopping there. The money is you earn back is deposited into your paypal account. Very easy. If you are interested please sign up by clicking either of the links on my blog, that way I can get credit for referring you. Happy Shopping!

Happy 4th!

Friday morning we went downtown Provo to the Freedom Festival. We walked around and ate some yummy food. Later that day we went over to my sister's house and ate more yummy food and just hung-out. It was fun to be with my brothers and sisters and all their kids. Ty loves playing with his cousins.

Welcome Little One!

My sister, Jennifer, just had her baby. He was born July 2nd at 12:59 PM, 6lbs. 14 oz. and 18 1/2 inches long. He wasn't due until July 25th but decided he wanted to be here a little early. Mom and baby are fine. No name yet, but it will probably be Ian. This is Jenn's 5th child. Congratulations Jenn and family!

Too Funny!

Like I said before, Ty is into EVERYTHING! Spencer didn't have time to video this so he hurried and grabbed the camera and started taking pictures. Here is the progression of Ty crawling into our kitchen cupboards. At first, we weren't sure he would actually get up into them...but he did! Strong little guy.

6 Months Old

Ty turned 6 months old last Sunday. He is crawling and likes to pull himself up to his feet while holding on to things. He gets into EVERYTHING! He can't sit still for 2 seconds...he always has to be doing something. He is so much fun to watch and play with. As soon as I was done taking the picture he flipped around and popped up to his feet to grab the guitar behind him. He is so active!

Best Dad!

Happy Father's Day Spencer! Ty loves you so much and I love watching his face light up when you get home from work. Thanks for being such a wonderful father.

Spencer and Ty, only a few weeks old.
Spencer and Ty on Father's Day.
Ty with his cousin Dana. Dana LOVES Ty. She calls all the time to see if we can come over and play. She is at that age when she is being a "little mommy". She holds him, feeds him, and plays with him. Ty loves playing with her too.
I was in charge of dessert for our big Father's Day Family Dinner at my mom's house. I decided to make Ice Cream Pie since it has been so warm. It was yummy!! (For all of you wondering...I made it with Breyer's new Lactose Free ice cream so I could acually eat it. Yeah!)

5 Months Old

I feel like I just posted his 4 month old pictures; time is flying by. He is so animated and active. Just in the last few days he has been balancing on his hands and knees and will "rock". He laughs all the time and loves to talk (baby talk). Oh, he also got another tooth!

Such A Big Boy!

Ty is just growing up so fast! He loves sitting in his high chair and eating rice cereal, yummy! He sits up all on his own without falling. This is a picture of Ty with his cousin Megan, who is 10 days older than he is. She is so tiny, well and, Ty is so big!The first time we tried to take a picture of them together it didn't turn out so well! Poor kids!

4-Wheelers

Spencer's brother, Nate, rented 4-wheelers over the weekend. I invited my sister, Stephanie and her husband, Josh. We went to this place up behind Nate's house in Eagle Mountain. All together it was Nate's family, Haylee, Ashton and Hannah. Spencer, me and Ty and Stephanie and Josh. It was so much fun. At first I was a little timid but by the end of the day I was going up and down big hills and I even caught air one time. Oh, and I tried Haylee's dirt bike! I was going crazy.

New Things

Well we made it to Utah. Ty was very good on the airplane and slept in my arms for about 2 1/2 hours. Spencer was beat from driving cross country but made it safe and sound. I can't believe how much Provo/Orem has changed over the last 1 1/2 years. There has been a TON of development and there is construction everywhere, of course. We kind of miss our little town, Lexington. It has been so much fun to see our families. This is what we have been up to so far.

1. Spencer has already started his internship and has met with a lot of clients. He seems to like it so far.
2. Spencer got his grades for last semester and he got the best grades he has ever gotten in law school, I'm so proud of him.
3. Ty's first tooth came in on Monday. My little boy is growing up so fast.
4. Ty started rice cereal this week and he loves it.
5. Ty also sits up in a high chair and loves being able to sit up and be apart of all the action.
